ResearcherID A Researcher ID service provided by Thomson Reuters. Each author is assigned a unique identification number, which makes it easy to find published works by a particular author, for example, in the Web of Science database.
ORCID Open Researcher and Contributor ID provided by the company ORCID. This is a registrar of unique identifiers of researchers, which are used to confirm the authorship of scholarly papers in SCOPUS and Web of Science. Instructions for registering with ORCID.
